Yellow Airplane
This oil on canvas piece by artist John Bashor measures 24" x 32" and features a yellow airplane. This piece is in good condition and is signed in the lower left corner. Born in Newton, Kansas, John Bashor is a painter and art educator who received his formal training at Washburn University and the University of Iowa and then taught art at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas (1954-1966).
He moved to Bozeman, Montana where in 1966, he became Director of the School of Art at Montana State University, and also became an established painter. He uses loose strokes and much color contrast, and his preferred medium is acrylic.
