Herb Thomson (1926-2003), watercolor, "Roaring River at Horseshoe Falls" signed lower right, good condition, image size 12 x 6 inches. Thomson was born and raised in the high mountain town of Leadville, CO and served with the U.S. Navy during WWll. Graduated from Denver University and taught in public schools in Denver, Pueblo, and Estes Park, CO. Thomas moved to Estes Park in 1962 and established the Estes Park School of Art where he also maintained a studio and gallery.
