Join Us for Play Music on the Porch Day, August 29th, 11am – 5pm
The Red Barn Studio Museum invites the community to spend a relaxing day of music, connection, and creativity during Play Music on the Porch Day on Saturday, August 29th, from 11:00am to 5:00pm on the museum’s front lawn.
This free international celebration brings musicians and neighbors together for a casual day of live music outdoors. Whether you stay for an hour or spend the afternoon, you’ll hear a variety of performers sharing everything from familiar favorites to original music in a welcoming community. This event will feature local musicians Steve Bowersox, the Front Porch Pickers, Kristopher Hitchman, The Radicals, Nile Johnson, and more!
Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Limited seating will be available, but visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. Don’t forget your sunscreen and bug spray as you settle in for a beautiful summer day of music under the Kansas sky. Join us from 2–3pm for Indigo Moo’d’s ice cream cart, which will be on the lawn.
