For one month, the Red Barn Studio | Raymer Society has an opportunity to stretch your support even further! From Saturday, October 10th, through Tuesday, November 10th, donations made to the Raymer Society Endowed Fund through McPherson County Community Foundation Match Month will receive matching funds from the Patterson Family Foundation.
This year, we will be using our matching funds to kick off fundraising for a Red Barn Restoration Project totaling approximately $100,000. The Raymer Society is committed to investing $50,000 toward these improvements, and we are asking our members, friends, and supporters to help us raise the remaining $50,000 needed to complete the work. We hope that, with your help and matching dollars from the Patterson Foundation, we can make a significant dent in our fundraising, with more fundraising events and opportunities planned throughout the year.
How to give during Match Month:
1. Donate Online
Visit www.mcphersonfoundation.org/matchmonth/ and select Red Barn Studio and Raymer Society for the Arts or go directly to our page here: mccf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=3852. You can also use the buttons provided on this webpage.
2. Send a Check
- Payable to: MCCF (McPherson County Community Foundation)
- Memo: RAYMER SOCIETY
- Mail to: MCCF, PO Box 822, McPherson, KS 67460
- Must be postmarked by Tuesday, November 10th.
- OR: drop the check off at the Red Barn during the month, and we will get it to MCCF
3. Qualified Charitable Donation (QCD)
If you qualify for a QCD from your IRA, you can contribute without needing to send funds immediately—we just need to receive the payment by year-end. To learn more, contact McPherson Community Foundation at (620) 245-9070 or info@mcphersonfoundation.org.
4. Matching Period Oct. 10 – Nov. 10
Donations MUST be made during the Oct. 10 – Nov. 10 giving period to qualify for the match. Gifts made before or after will NOT be eligible for the match.
