Lester Raymer worked in several themes when he approached his painting, but one of the most well known, and sought after, were his circus paintings.  The drummer boy, originally painted with oil on masonite, was finished in 1962.  Currently, it is a part of The Raymer Society’s collection and on display in The Red Barn Studio Museum.
